Anduin is having an archery lesson with his father, but also grilling him for information (because he doesn't believe it's his real father): "If you were kidnapped by the Defias, how did you come to be in the hands of the Naga?" Varian says that he doesn't really know or remember, and quickly changes the subject to archery, giving his son lessons in how to hold and control the bow. Anduin hits the center of the target, and Varian praises him, offering a new pony or a better saddle as a reward. Instead, Anduin asks him to have Bolvar Fordragon look into the matter of the Defias/Naga mystery -- his curiosity won't be sated. Varian waves it off, but Anduin keeps it in the back of his mind as they go off to other activities.
A few days later, Anduin is out on a ride with his father and informs him that Bolvar has suspicions that strange things are going on in Stormwind -- and that he has someone who has a theory about it already. Varian brushes it off and tells him to be careful where the horse steps on this part of the trail, as one side leads off of a ledge.
No sooner does he say that than something spooks the horse straight into falling over the ledge, taking Anduin with it. Anduin free falls until Varian grabs his hand, hauling him back up to safety. Anduin decides that only his real father would save him from certain danger, and hugs him tightly. Varian admits to the party (which includes Bolvar and Lady Prestor) that he remembers something about the Naga and the Defias, and about a strange ritual. But Lady Prestor caresses his chin, and it's as if Varian becomes befuddled again, talking only of brave deeds as his specialty.
Effects:
+100 Suspicion of Varian not being the real Varian...especially because he's seen how angry Varian normally is!
+10000 love of his father tho *w*
- Mostly just confusion all around
- Hey I'm an archer and not useless!
- Knowledge of Bolvar and Lady Prestor, their faces, and the knowledge that they were the king's advisors.

The sway of the Emerald Nightmare.
Day 372. Nori seaweed; eat to use. [1/1]

Anduin is locked in Stormwind keep because there's a strange fog that appears to be hiding Scourge inside of it rolling over the city. Varian has been super paranoid, forcing Anduin and the rest of the staff to stay up for fear that they'll fall asleep and never wake up again. Anduin's reading in the Great Room used for royal activities when he becomes extremely tired and decides to rest his eyes for a few moments. Surely it won't hurt anyone, and his father's been more than a little on edge since he got back from the whole amnesia thing.
Except...it's actually the sway of the Emerald Nightmare, which shows you all of your fears -- most of Anduin's are not being able to live up to the glory of his father, and things like that (not being a good king, being too weak to rule, etc). He's trapped in there for what seems like an endless amount of time, until he finally wakes up in his own bed, his father's relieved face looming over him.
Effects:
